Now in a new central location, it is bringing much-loved dishes such as cauliflower hot wings, cashew Camembert cheese and cacao truffles to the masses.
Created by award-winning chef Matthew Nutter, The Allotment was named the best vegetarian restaurant in Britain by The Times. Famed for its tasting menus that are available in 5 or 10 courses, Nutter hopes to establish The Allotment as a more casual dining experience in its new location, steering away from the fine dining reputation it had in Stockport. In doing so he's introduced brunch options for weekend diners, alongside tasty lunch box options for local workers and midday munchers.
The restaurant already has more than a few awards under its belt, from Restaurant of the Year accolades, to nabbing a gong for its sumptuous vegan roast that will hit the spot with plant-based and omnivorous eaters alike.
